Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I get my pets ready for a cleaning team to come into my home?
A. Notify you cleaning company that you have a pet. Tell you cleaning company your pets name and any special instructions. Show your cleaning company where you keep the leash and any treats in the event your pet would happen to get out. If there is an animal mess, clean it up before the cleaning company comes in. Animal excrement can lead to the spread of dangerous diseases if not handled properly. Mention to the cleaning crew your pet’s favorite hiding places or hang outs. This way the crew can pay special attention to these areas. If at all possible, put your pet in a kennel or clearly marked room that the crew is not scheduled to clean. Leave a few favorite toys with your pet to keep it from getting restless.
Q. Are you insured and bonded to perform maid and cleaning services?
A. Our insurance is one of the best insurances available. We are bonded, but we also have business liability insurance, accident coverage and workman’s compensation. We can send out a copy of our insurance certificate.
Q. Do I have to be home when you clean my home?
A. Each home owner handles this differently. Some home owners choose to stay home while we clean others prefer to give us a key or different entry codes. Some home owners leave a key in a secure location. By far the best way is to provide us with a key and codes to get into the home. This prevents the possibility of lock outs.
Q. How are my keys protected?
A. Keys are kept in a locked storage box at the office. Only Maidcor managers have access to the locked box. Keys are issued to the team leader on a daily basis and must be returned to the office at the end of every day. Keys are only labeled with a number that corresponds to your account, so in the event a key is lost, there is no identifying information on it.
Q. Will I always have the same team?
A. We make every effort to have the same team of individuals return to your home. From time to time we may substitute individuals due to illness, vacation etc. Our team leaders train their team to provide the best quality services in each home.
Q. Are your house cleaning teams trained and supervised?
A. Team members are trained before going on job sites. We continue training continually as new products and methods are developed and continually reinforce cleaning techniques which were already taught. We also check up on teams with periodic visits and quality control checks.
